The UNIV youth meetings were an initiative of St. Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer, who thought of bringing university students from all over the world to exchange ideas on relevant topics, in order to learn from one another. The encounters took place during Holy Week, taking advantage of the opportunity to accompany the Pope; and in Rome, where the fusion of art, culture and faith have been an enriching experience for many young people.
UNIV is a not-for-profit initiative. It is an activity that comes about with the help, effort and collaboration of many people. As expected, much of the resources are obtained through the contributions of its participants.
Therefore, we invite you to collaborate with us!
Can you help us change the world?

Much of the success of UNIV Inspire is due to the collaboration of people who help in the logistics and organization of the event. This collaboration is focused on 2 days:
  • The Meeting Point (Tues)
  • UNIV à la carte (Thurs)
Collaborating as a staff member involves preparing the event rooms, helping with logistics, accompanying the guest speakers, being available for any questions or needs that participants have ... small details that make a big difference!
Would you like to be one of our collaborators?
" UNIV is the result of the efforts of many people. With many small contributions, we achieve great things. It only takes vision and knowing that, with what we do, we help people from all over the world to meet each other, get to know Rome and live a once-in-a-lifetime Holy Week."
Director of UNIV Inspire

UNIV Inspire participants come from all corners of the world! We count on the skills of a team of interpreters during UNIV Meeting Point (Tuesday), so that all can enjoy the content.
If you have the gift of languages, would you like to volunteer as an interpreter?
"If one day UNIV contacts you about opportunities, say yes, there is no need to think about it, you just have to act and roll up your sleeves. Show your attitude, don’t stop at the first obstacles, because from a small experience you can receive huge benefits."

"I accepted without having to think too much because I thought it was a very important opportunity for my career as an interpreter (...). I ventured into that experience which, in the end, was very positive for my personal and professional training."
